It's truly amazing to see how creative and talented our children are....they just need the right atmosphere and encouragement to find it! At the beginning of each class we usually warm up with pencil...drawing is the bases for most artistic creations, but I want students to go far beyond simply drawing. I try to encourage students to experiment with multiple medias such as pastels, watercolors, charcoals, clays, paper mache, acrylics, temperas and other medias that they may have yet to try...not only using traditional tools like pencils and brushes, but often the unexpected (maybe even our hands!). This may help a student find a love for an art form that would have never been explored! Students will create ,mosaics, collages, batik, paintings, sculptures, drawings, pottery and beyond..They will learn to express themselves, try new things and think outside-the-box though their art! They'll create artwork keepsakes that will not only be beautiful and educational to create... but will hold life long memories of discoveries and friendships created at the Art Factory. The sky is their limit!
To keep students interested and encourage creative thinking I introduce new art projects regularly that tie into educational famous artist and/or new techniques .

Students will participate in the Alabama Wildlife Art Show and be encouraged to enter artwork in the Prattauga Art Show and Alabama State Fair. They are encouraged to enter their artwork into other shows if possible. This is a wonderful way to create a sence of pride in their artwork while boosting their self confidence.

*ART LESSONS*
Beginning in August...lessons will be from 4:00-5:30 as follows throughout the school year. We will follow the Autauga County School System for holidays and bad weather.
Tuesdays 6th-12th grades
Wednesdays 4th - 6th grades
Thursdays 1st - 4th grades

Monthly tuition *$60
All art supplies will be provided at each lesson.
1 snack & 1 drink will be provided at each lesson.
*A one time $20 registration fee is due with 1st months tuition. This helps to cover the cost of class materials.
*Tuition is due on the 1st lesson of each month.
